Nexus Real Estate Corporation, represented by Executive Vice-President Shanna Lopez and Marketing Manager Ronald Vincent Fortez, shows support to the Society of Cebu Realty Firms, Inc. through attending a weekly meeting with the members of the society and the brokers at the Cervantes Room Casino Espanyol last March 23, 2011.

The meeting was also a way of Nexus to show the Society its concern to the brokers and its partners in the industry. As partners, an open forum was conducted to show transparency and also to show full support to the visions and goals of the society for the betterment of the industry. With this meeting, Nexus hopes that society members shall promote and push the projects of Nexus with the aid of their vast connections.

Nexus Real Estate Corporation’s decision to embark once again to another journey of providing homes for the Cebuanos was set as Kamalaya Dos’ Groundbreaking Ceremony was held last February 6, 2011.

The ceremony was led by Nexus’ Executive Vice-president Shanna Lopez, joined by Marketing Manager RV Fortez, Engr. Rodisson Yu of HBDC and Melissa Mateo and Joel Ong of Urbanshift 1 Studio, the architects for Kamalaya Dos.

The ceremonial sealing and burrowing of the time capsule was started around 9 am after a short welcome address from EVP Lopez. It was then followed by a simple lunch with all the guests, including top brokers and agents, clients and other contractors.

With the groundbreaking done, Nexus Real Estate Corporation is now setting the schedule for the construction for the three model units, Sangai, Nava and Nui. Furthermore, it is now officially open for selling.

At Cebu CFI Community Cooperative Building last December 17, 2010, Landasia Realty and Development Corporation Led by its CEO and Founder Realtor Marissa Inting and Realtor Ric Inting staged their Sailor and Mariners inspired Christmas party. Well attended by over 200, agents, developer and industry partners. Games and various dance and song number entertained the guest whole night. Awards and recognitions were given to the top agents and sales manager.

Nexus Real Estate Corp. represented by Executive Vice President Shanna Lopez pledges as one of the newest members of the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders’ Association.

Ms. Shanna Lopez also received a Plaque of Appreciation for her invaluable assistance to the programs and affairs said association.

Around 150 of Cebu’s top managing brokers and real estate practitioners attended the Villagio Halloween Open house last October 30, 2010.It is the unveiling of Nexus Real Estate latest Housing Development in the south of Cebu called “THE VILLAGIO”. The project is a 2.3-hectare residential development located at South Poblacion San Fernando. The Halloween open house event started with a speech from Nexus Real Estate Corp. Executive Vice-President Ms. Shanna Lopez, as she welcomed guest, media and top brokers and agents.

The opening followed by games and entertainment from the staff. Everybody enjoyed the dishes served in the event. The festivities wrapped up after the Marketing Manager of Nexus, Mr. Ronald Vincent L Fortez announced the new promos and discounts for the projects of Nexus

It was bright and sunny as Nexus Real Estate officially opened to the public the completion of the four (4) model houses ( Bernini, Palladio, Caravaggio, and Palazzo Rosita) of The Villagio, the premier real estate development of the South. The Blessing and Open House commenced with a foot parade from the town plaza and ended at the site followed by the blessing of the four model houses, ribbon cutting and a short program hosted by Realtor Ron Tan. The welcome address was given by Nexus’ Executive Vice President Shanna Lopez followed by an inspirational message by the Vice Mayor of San Fernando, Hon. Michael Canoy. A short message was also given by Nexus’ Marketing Manager, RV Fortez. Everyone then enjoyed the sumptuous eight-course lunch served and went home with freebies and souvenirs after the event.

Another successful event listed to the dossier of Nexus Real Estate Corporation as it was attended by a large number of potential buyers from all corners of Cebu hoping for quality homes they can own. Cebu’s top brokers and realtors also graced the said event.

Indeed it’s another milestone added to the roster of accomplishments by this “on-the-rise” real estate corporation.

5 extra tables had to be added to fit in the unexpected number of guests who attended the Christmas party of Nexus Real Estate Corporation and the soft launch of The Villagio. Hosted by the adorable Mr. Vietmeer Cuevas, the event started with Opening remarks from Nexus EVP Shanna Lopez. Followed by a special number by the singing realtor Mr. Herbert Buot who has been branded as the local Frank Sinatra, Dance numbers by the different realtors as well as Nexus staff added a lot of excitement. Lots of games, food and fun entertained the guests the whole night.

The mayor of San Fernando Mayor Lakambini Reluya made a speech together with the head of DTI Atty Carol Josh as the keynote speaker of the night. Unveiling of the four model units namely: Bernini, Palladio, Caravaggio, and Palazzo Rosita followed after and capped the event which was very much a success.

Expected to be the biggest housing development in the south, The Villagio had a groundbreaking last July 18, 2009 in San Fernando. This 2.5 hectare community will have over 200 units of houses built for the middle income market. Construction for the single detached unit (Bellini) has been scheduled on 27th of July 2009, to be followed by the single-storey duplex unit (Palladio) and the two-storey cluster of three (Palazzo Rosita). The Villagio is walking distance from the beach and is only a few meters away from the market, the school, the church and the Municipal hall of San Fernando!
